WHO WE ARE

Kisuma Chemicals, based in Veendam, is a global leader in plastics additives. Our commitment to sustainability is central to everything we do. With over 120 employees in Veendam and production facilities in the Netherlands, Japan, and China, we are committed to delivering products that not only offer high performance but also contribute to a more sustainable world. Our synthetic hydrotalcites and other magnesium compounds play a crucial role in environmentally friendly applications, such as improving recyclability and extending the lifespan of plastics. The organization is growing, while maintaining our core values: together, professional, caring, and developing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your challenge

We actively invest in a long-term vision in which people and technology go hand in hand. Our employees are professionals who we take seriously – that is why we work together on a solid HR/GA policy that supports and challenges them. As HR/GA Manager, you form a close-knit team with two independent HR Officers, and you also manage the General Affairs department, where three general support staff work, including staffing the reception. Our organization is internationally active and is in a growth phase. This requires structure, vision and an HR/GA policy that professionalizes without losing the human touch. As HR/GA Manager, you translate Kisuma's strategic course into a future-oriented HR/GA strategy. You know how to apply the right focus and translate this course into clear annual plans and concrete actions.
