Kisuma Chemicals and Gulf Strategy sign consultancy agreement for the GCC area.
Veendam, the Netherlands, April 18, 2016 - Effective from April 1st, 2016, Gulf Strategy Est. for Commercial Services (GSE) will act as commercial and technical consultant for Kisuma Chemicals in the GCC area. The services of GSE shall include assisting Kisuma Chemicals to keep and expand the current market position of its polymer additives in the GCC and to identify new opportunities for growth. The agreement covers all products of Kisuma Chemicals, but is particularly focused on DHT-4A and DHT-4V – the industry standard acid scavengers for Polyolefins. As part of the deal, GSE will stop all promotional activities of products that may be considered competitive by Kisuma Chemicals.
Commenting on the agreement, Kisuma Chemicals’ managing director, Marcel Oolbekkink, stated: ‘’We are delighted to enter this agreement with GSE, which will further increase our market intelligence and presence in the GCC polymer additives market. This consultancy agreement demonstrates our long-term commitment to our valued customers in the Middle East. By combining our history of manufacturing excellence and the global sales network of our agent/distributor Mitsui & Co. with GSE’s in-depth knowledge of the GCC polymer additives market, we continue to deliver on our vision to be the market and technologically leading supplier of hydrotalcites and specialty magnesium compounds’’.
Ahmed Khan, managing director of GSE, added: ‘’Kisuma Chemicals is the most reputed hydrotalcite supplier in the world, with extremely strong brand names like DHT-4A and DHT-4V. I have been dealing with their highly skilled and professional employees since I started to buy their products in 2003, so I already knew the company infrastructure is eminent. During the discussions that resulted in this agreement, Kisuma Chemical’s dedication to high quality manufacturing and world-class customer service became overwhelmingly clear to me. By working in close partnership with the Kisuma Chemicals team, I strongly feel that we will be successful in delivering additional value to customers in the Middle East polymer additives market.’’
