High-purity Magnesium Hydroxide

Advantages

  • Excellent as a non-toxic flame retardant.
  • Prevents corrosion of molding machines and mold dies.
  • Can be compounded to high concentrations in EVA, EEA, VLDPE, PP, EDPM, etc.
  • Improves arc and tracking resistance.
  • Improves polypropylene’s MFI, flexural modulus and impact strength.
  • Heat capacity od endothermic decomposition per unit of weight is higher than ATH.
  • Thermal degradation and electrical properties (volume resistivity, dielectric constant, dielectric loss tangent) are better than ATH filled compounds.
  • Synergistic effects with red phosphorus or carbon black.
